Hello! I’ve been quite late in submitting for the Ellen Hutson Pin Sights Challenge this time, but finally, an idea clicked and I made this –
Here’s the awesome board from Ellen Hutson –
I also wanted to include some Altenew goodies, as a part of the awesome The Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop with Altenew.
So I first stamped the background with an image from Altenew Dodecagram stamp set, using Hero Arts Soft Pool and Frayed Burlap distress inks. I then added a tag die cut from vellum using WPlus9 Timeless Tags 2.
I wanted a little bit of texture/pattern on the flower and leaves and I didn’t have anything corresponding to the colors. Instead, I picked this piece of stamp packing, drew some wood texture on it using half died sketch pens, and die cut the flower and leaves from Ellen Hutson Wild Garden on top.
Finally came the sentiment from Die Versions Celebrate, and then a few rhinestone embellishments. I mounted this panel with a slight offset on the card base, so it actually hangs off a bit.
