Hello,

This is a special blog post, dedicated to a very sweet relative of mine, who had a birthday yesterday. Zsuzsi is the girlfriend of my cousin and she loves horses. I made her a horse-birthday card last year, but this year I wanted unicorns 😀

First I created my frame: I die cut that awesome Paper Smooches die once from white cardstock and 2 times from my favourite velvety touch dark red cardstock and glued them together. On the inner white piece I masked and stamped my unicorn party scene using the SSS Stamptember exclusive Mini Pony Party unicorn set from The Greeting Farm.

I coloured in with Shinhan alcohol markers and added extra details with black glaze pen, Spectrum Noir shimmer pen and glossy accent. For the hearts filling I die cut the same die from Lawn Fawn patterned paper and glued everything on a white card base.

The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted, stamped in Lawn Fawn Peacock ink.

I think it really turned out girly 😀 Happy Birthday Zsuzsi, we all love you!
