MFT Card Design Superstar Contest 2016, Happy Little Stamper Dies – September, SSS Monday – 19 September, SSS Wednesday – 14 September

Hello … bonjour!  Popping in to share a card tonight (or p’raps more accurately this morning!) … a rather stylish, dapper and whimsical little number …

I white heat embossed one of the fabulous characters from the Birds of Paradise set onto a black card panel … and black heat embossed him onto a white card panel that had already been cut with the Accent It: Celebrate die-namics (thanks to the Lake House stash!).  A slice of striped DP was fixed behind the negative die cut space and the white panel was adhered over the black.  This chap wanted to look his best for the MFT Superstar contest, so insisted I doodle him a bow tie … and add the tiniest little gem to the knot … he thinks it looks cool … with just the right amount of pizazz … and who am I to argue with his dress sense?  Think he’s going for an avian 007-at-the-casino look here!

He’s going out on the town at …

Yep….gonna call this dapper little avian fellow “BOND….James Bond|”….

Seriously, so stinkin’ cute!!! I love the black& white thing you have going on here! Clean, simple, sweet as ever! Splitting the little guy betwixt and between the black & white is so clever and creative! The bow tie ROCKS and is that special little extra that is definitely going to garner James (or should we call him Jimmy) plenty of attention from the MFT judges!!!

    Good luck pal!!!

Putting on the Ritz is perfect for this feathered, natty bird…if I squint, I can see a ivory handled cane in his wing. Such a gorgeous, clean and slightly graphic card. Amazing design. Love the treatment of the negative diecut and that stripey pattern. And you can draw, as well…his bowtie is the perfect accessory. Now all he need is some stairs to dance up and down ala Mr. Astaire.

C’est la super class ! Il est tout beau et très élégant dans son costume noir et blanc ! Et le top du top : le noeud papillon avec la petite perle ! Très belle carte simple et chic comme tu sais les faire Anita !

You have had me stumped on the last couple of sign-offs, haha! We can put our heads together and you’ll have to decipher!! In the meantime, LYAMYACWTSY!! Hugs, Darnell
