Today I’m sharing in more detail the third card from my MFT guest designer blog post last week. It features the MFT Happy Hedgehogs stamp set, a fantastic new release for September. See that post here.
Hedgehog and fall florals
I do love a colourful background, but I’m also a big fan of the clean and simple look.
I die cut the MFT stepped up chevron die-namic several times from white card, and adhered them to a white notecard, to create a textured white on white background.
Using a mix of Memento and Altenew dye inks, I stamped some florals from the MFT Fall Florals stamp set and die cut them with matching dies.
I arranged these on the lower left side of the card, adhering flat to the card front, and tucked in a small tag amongst them, with a sentiment from the MFT Happy Hedgehogs set. The tag is cut using the smallest from the MFT Stitched Traditional tag die-namics.
I coloured a hedgehog with zig pens, then used foam tape to pop him up on the card. I finished with some clear sequins.
Colouring: Hedgehogs: zig real brush pens 26, 60, 62, 72
I love this card so much. The background is such a fab use of the chevron die and it sets off the flowers and hedgehog perfectly. A really inspiring CAS card 🙂 Esther
