Vintage leaves continued

This week the challenges are both colour related, here’s the CAS colours

ccs_2016-09-15_191

and this is my creation

my-thoughts-are-with-you-wm

For the cucumber crush and delightful dijon I inked up the stamps, stamped onto scrap paper and then onto the very vanilla to get a paler (second generation)  image which wouldn’t overpower the beautiful bermuda bay.

The global design project had these colourscolour-challengegdp053

and here is my take on them #GDP093

youre-in-my-thoughts-3-wm

It’s hard to tell from the picture (!) but the top layer has  a leaf shaped hole in it which has been cut with the leaflets die.  On the layer below I daubed with the watermelon wonder and stamped the greeting.

The leaves are beautiful – I really like the stamping off of the cucumber crush and delightful dijon, it works so well with the bermuda bay leaf. Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches this week. Liz x
