Hello guys!
Another early Christmas card because I’m trying to get more use out of my “old” stamps. By “old” I mean the stamps from the previous years releases. Some of my “old” stamps actually have never been used. 😉 And since I recently became a happy mom of two furry babies, I just cannot resist to put them both on a card.
Here we are with a super simple almost one layer card. This time I used a “good old” masking technique together with my “old” stamps to build a cute Christmas scene. Oh, yes!!! It means stamping everything first on a masking paper, doing a huge amount of fussy cutting and finally re-stamping everything on the card front.
All that cuteness is from Simon Says Stamp’s Christmas Cats set. As for the background, the light blue color was added using ink blending. Later I applied one of my all time favorites stencils Falling Snow (it is from Simon Says Stamp too). This stencil magically transforms any background into a winter scene.
In the end, I’d like to mention that the images were colored with copic markers and that means that they were stamped with a copic friendly ink. Below you can find all the exact colors I used.
Hope you like the card and thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate it a lot!
Tatiana

Really cute card.
Many thanks!!!
Hi Tatiana,
Your card caught my eye on Flickr. I like the way you made the layout, colored the scene, blended background color and added stenciled snow. I recently purchased this stamp set and am looking for inspiration to use the set to make a card for my friend who loves cats. The way you made this card is similar to the kind of art I do. I haven’t been blogging long, but if you want to see the card I made with the cats, you will find it at https://coffincardsandcreations.wordpress.com/2016/08/25/paper-piecing/
Would you please tell me how you manage to put pictures of your supplies at the bottom of your post? I would appreciate the information. 🙂 I’m going to follow your blog.
Smiles,
Tricia
Hi, Tricia!
Thanks for all the kind words and love! Your card is stunning! I’m not so good with the pattern paper!
My supplies list is made with Inlinkz Blogging tool http://www.inlinkz.com/. I use a free account since I’m not affiliate to any shop, but I like to share the supplies I used on my projects. They have step by step instructions how to use their tools and I guess you can find some video tutorial on You Tube too.
Hope it would be helpful!
Tatiana
Thanks for the info. I suppose there is a fee. Is there? I don’t want that. My craft supplies cost enough! 😊
I use a free basic account! No fee for that!
Please, could you give me the connection so I can do the same? That’s great! Thank you.
