MY THOUGHTS: Since we’ve met Alex she has experienced 3 personal life altering events. Alex is now learning to deal with the drama that her job brings, to not only her life, but the lives of her family and friends.

Alex’s new case involves a female victim, whose cause of death holds strong similarities to a cold case from 10 years ago. Throughout this case, Alex has a new partner in crime, a female she can relate to, on most occasions.

Balancing tracking the case of a cold blooded killer, being a good parent, and dealing with a secret relationship is more than what Alex can handle ongoing, and something has to give.

Mefford is still teasing us with Alex’s new secretive relationship. While we get closure on this warped case Alex worked, we will have to wait to get some answers about the progression of her love life. The end of this thriller does promise to bring us even more and I can’t wait!
