The Third Party Vote is the Future: Part 1

As someone who would just assume sacrifice my firstborn then let Hillary Clinton become our next president, know this: I completely understand the argument that a "vote for a third party is a vote for the opposition".  I understand it, but I'm refusing to let it be my guiding principle in who I vote for.

And, while I've made which side I come from very clear, the argument I'm about to put forth applies to ALL Americans.

First, in this post, I'd like to lay out a few things that I firmly believe and have influenced my walking away from this two party system:

**I believe that Hillary Clinton will be our next president no matter who you vote for.
  • Thanks to the DNC WikiLeaks, we know she's already done what she needs to do to unfairly suppress opponents.
  • The story of the year was immediately suppressed shortly after Iowa- that being the vote counting machines run by Microsoft, which is owned by Bill Gates, who is a major investor in several areas of the global agenda that Hillary will push forward in office. You want to know what's up? DEMAND to know what is being used to count your local votes in Nov.
  • She's an openly authoritarian globalist who will further what Obama, and the Bush family and her husband before him, have set up for her to drive home. She's the pinch hitter at the end of the game. Don't think for one moment this team isn't doping and doing all they can to make sure they don't lose when they're so close to winning.
If you were one of the people who praised this as evidence that "people who strongly disagree can still respect each other", you're part of the problem.
  • She's a corrupt criminal and a known liar, and those facts are neither stopping her from running nor dissuading 40+% of the American people from reportedly supporting her in the polls.
  • Speaking of polls, and let's add in the mainstream media to this conversation: When a majority of the populous are a bunch of sheeple who take the word of MSNBC, CNN, New York Times, Huffington Post, and Washington Post as trusted, "balanced " (ROTFL), authoritative, gospel truth instead of researching for themselves, well, Trump is "literally Hitler" don't ya' know #eyeroll.

**I believe that even if Trump wins, we're no better off because. . .
  • He's an idiot. A man who doesn't understand that the Supreme court doesn't make laws is no man able to undo the mess we're in. That mess has been made in Congress with the passing of hundreds of thousands of little policies and laws that take someone with at least the basic understanding of the American legal system to navigate for any effective sort of outcome.
  • Because he's an idiot, he'll have to depend on advisors who are likely to be establishment Republicans who are 1/2 responsible for the authoritarian mess we're in. I like these quotes by author, Carroll Quigley:
“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers,”
and: “Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy.”
  • Even though, Trump is the "radical" choice threatening an "extreme shift", he is, also, a known liar and rather dumb panderer. The number of ridiculous things Trump jumped on to pander to the religious right made him completely untrustworthy. Remember: the man jumped on the "red cup" controversy, believing that's what we Christians cared about. He's a moron in more ways than one.
  • The number of times he's switched positions in his candidacy is mind boggling. When you see a candidate platform comparison chart or his views on the ISideWith quiz, you can't take any of them seriously. He ranks a second closest match to my views on that quiz, but I just throw him out because the intellectually honest view of Trump is that none of us knows what he really stands for, at all, and even some of his most vocal supporters admit this.
  • He's a complete wild card- that could mean something good, it could also mean something awful. What it doesn't mean is any sort of realistic or significantly important move toward what really needs to be done to set us back on the right track. No argument for or against him, outside of this, is valid. We simply do not know for sure what he stands for.
We are left to choose between the evil we know will be enacted through the criminal, Hillary Clinton, or a moronic wild card who talks a good talk unless you leave "The Donald" talking long enough, and you realize he has no idea what he's talking about. And, if he doesn't know, how can he stop the craziness sinking our country?

Or, are we?

Stay tuned for my continuing walk down this, the road of the Third Party Vote.

  1. I think many feel this way you do about the election. I think the media made Trump the candidate. The outrageous things he said & continues to say drive up ratings. I watch Good Morning America and they talked about or talked to Trump every day during the primaries - never giving any other person who might be the least bit qualified a chance. And now we are left with this. Sad state of affairs in my opinion. Thanks for posting on #overthemoon

  2. I clicked on your link because I wondered how you would take this topic and expound upon it. I am not sure I agree with everything but I appreciate the freedoms we have to share our thoughts and be intentional with our rhetoric if we feel that it is a necessary and the time you took to share what you felt was important. It was certainly an interesting read.
