Hello Birdie!

Here we go with another card!
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is looking for Winged Things.  I have them!
Hello Birdie
card base – 11” X 4¼” Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock folded in half
background panel – 5½” X 4¼” Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock
Use a VersaMark Ink Pad to stamp Hero Arts Leaf and Floral  background stamp.  Sprinkle with Recollections Snow Embossing Powder.  Shake off excess and set with a heat gun.  This makes a resist on the panel.  Using a Tim Holtz mini blending tool, cover the entire panel using Tim Holtz Distress ink pad in Twisted Citron.  Next, go around the outside of the panel using T.H. Distress Peacock Feathers ink pad and a mini blending tool.  Don’t cover the center of the panel.  Go over the entire panel with Twisted Citron again.
Spritz the panel with Shimmer Sparkle.  Let this dry.
The bird stamp is by Wplus9.  Stamp the image using a  Memento Potter’s Clay ink pad.  The entire bird was colored with Copic Marker Y00.  The red is a blend of R24, E70, Y11.  The yellow is a blend of Y18 and E70.  The green is a blend of Y00, YG03, YG17, YG25, E70.  The beak and feet are blended with Y15, a speck of R24, E70.  The branch is blended with C03, E70, E74, E79.  The berries are a blend of Y18, R24, Y00.  The leaves are a blend of YG17, G07.
Use scissors to cut out the bird and branch image.
Clear Zig Wink of Stella was brushed over the surface of the bird and berries and leaves (but not the branch).  A black gel pen was used on the eye with a fleck of Copic White Opaque White.  After things were dry, the bird and branch were stamped on fun foam in any color ink.  Scissors were used to cut inside the outer line of the image so the fun foam will not be seen sticking out from under the image.  Attach the fun foam to the colored image with Liquidtex Matte Gel.  Then attach the image to the card with the same gel.
Orange and white twine was wrapped around the panel with a bow tied near the top and secured with a Zot clear adhesive dot.
A sentiment label was stamped with Hero Arts Color Layering for You Flowers stamp set with Archival Brilliance Coffee Bean ink pad on Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock.  When it was dry, it was adhered to the card with 4 small Zots in the corners and 1 medium Zot in the center.  3 small yellow Hero Arts gems were adhered to the label in the top left corner.
