A fun and quick card to share today.
On watercolour card stock, I blended distress inks in blue and green. I then flicked the background with water, dabbing away the drops after a few seconds, to lift the colour underneath away, leaving a distressed background effect. I also flicked over the background some Ranger Perfect Pearls for a bit of shimmer.
I ran this background twice through my die machine with the MFT Stamps Stitched Strip die-namic.
I wanted to add a Lawn Fawn Scripty Cheers die cut to the card but couldn’t decide what colour of glitter paper to use. I die cut the greeting a few times in different blue and green colours, then decided that I’d add them all for a ‘three cheers’ card!
Finally, I added a few enamel dots in coordinating colours.
Cheers!
