Colouring with Nail Varnish

Hello!
I'm back sooner than I thought I would. Well, I just felt like playing at PTI's MIM challenge, stenciling with texture paste and using nail varnish for colouring. I do not like bright, bold nail varnish and since these were sent to me as a gift, what better way could I use them for than crafting? So here's what I did.

From another angle making the sparkle visible

Supplies used:
Dreamweaver-Shell wreath stencil
homemade texture paste
nail varnish
sand
Papertrey Ink-Edgers #1 die
                       Spring woods stamp (sentiment)
Using the homemade texture paste, the image was embossed, coloured with nail varnish alone (even the white dots) and sand added. For the sentiment panel, I die cut a piece of the same card stock as the card base, but used the reverse which was slightly darker. Did this for the wavy effect.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges...
http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com - stencil
http://modsquadchallenge.blogspot.com - nautical
http://myshericrafts.blogspot.co.uk - beach
http://mixedmediamojo.blogspot.co.uk - shells
http://themixedmediacardchallenge.blogspot.co.uk - sparkle
    Have a beautiful Sunday!
Leanne
