MFT Camp Create, Day 3, Watercolor

PrintHello there! Today I'm back with a watercolor background card for MFT Camp Create. I must admit I have creative burnout from Monday's glitter card. That was brutal folks.

Today I created a very simple background watercolor wash with my Distress Inks of Squeezed Lemonade, Shaded Lilac and Worn Lipstick. I have never used this color combination before and wanted to make a soft card. My images and sentiment are from Beautiful Blooms. I used the scallop stitched frame in Blueprints 27 to die-cut out my frame and adhered it to a Lavender Fields card stock base. I then scattered Enchanted Garden and Easter Mix sequins by Pretty Pink Posh that are in the MFT store. The images were stamped with my MISTI and Versafine Black Onyx Ink, twice, then heat embossed using clear embossing powder. The vivid black up against the pastel colors is very pretty and I achieved the look I was after. All products that I used today can be purchased at the MFT store.

Even though I have a full product list for you above, I do need to pull my links together and that's next on the very long To Do List I have.

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit me today and God bless!
