I started reading this on the free ebook version that came with the Nook app, pictured above, but realized I had my own copy around here somewhere (pictured below). The above one will qualify me for the Tombstone category, at least.

It looks like the last Miss Marple I read was back in 1985. I didn’t seem to care that much for A Murder Is Announced, so haven’t picked up any since, other than a few short stories. I should probably change that after reading Murder at the Vicarage. It was much better done than I expected, with the narrator being the vicar Leonard Clement. Miss Marple appears only from time to time to point out some astute observations and arrive at the clever conclusion. She seems to be a sharper and less likable character here than she later becomes.
