Happy Birthday Floral Card ft Stampendous

Hello, all!

Oh my, it’s been forever since my last post, but I managed to make some free time today and quickly made a card as I just couldn’t take it anymore without touching my crafting goodies:)) And I bought so much stuff lately that began to arrive and seeing that I could not use it, ah, it was so painful! 🙂

Today’s card is very simple and I used this lovely stamp from Stampendous, such a versatile and playful stamp, as you can use it in various ways for your projects. I first stamped the image onto a watercolor cardstock and quickly colored the roses with my good old Distress Inks. Next I trimmed them out with my scissors and stamped the whole image once more on a white paper panel with a blue ink. I didn’t want to have all black outlines for all the images, so that’s why I chose a different color. I also masked the sentiment out as the ”default” one is for a wedding theme card and I stamped my own to match a birthday card from a set by Technique Tuesday.20160526_225023

To adhere my panel I used foam to the back for some dimension and also popped the flowers with foam tape. For a bit of sparkle I added the Wink of Stella in clear and several sequins here and there.

This type of stamps are perfect for mass producing card as all you have to do on this particular one is to add a bit of color to the flowers and leaves, it is also great for making quick cards that can match any occasion if you mask out the sentiment.

I am adding my card to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and this week is all about **wishing**and also to the Wednesday Challenge where the theme is Anything goes! You definitely want to check both challenges out and try to win some goodies! 🙂

You can watch the how-to video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Thank you all for stopping by and patiently waitng for my posts 😛
