  1. Love it! This is such great timing because I am planning the same kind of party for my son’s first birthday in April. I have been having a hard time finding ideas for boys rather than girls . The link for the Etsy invitation is not working for me. Any chance you could tell me the shop name? Thanks so much for all of the inspiration!

  2. Great party! This may have already been done before (if so, could you please post a link? 🙂 ), but I would love to see a tutorial on how to use the silhouette cameo. I have one and know that i don’t use it to its fullest potential because I’m not sure what of the best paper/card stock and where to find it. Mine seems to crumple a good bit. Also, where you find the best images, sizing, etc. I have many ideas to do but usually end up frustrated! Thank you!

    1. I generally just use cardstock from my scrapbooking stash. The sparkle cardstock was really thick, so I did have to run it through two times. I bet if you search Silhouette tutorial on YouTube, you would find many that would do a better job than me. 🙂 I tend to buy images direct from Silhouette. Honestly, I have only used it a handful of times and am still learning too.

  3. How do people typically respond to the “no presents please” on your invites? We haven’t had a lot of formal “kid” parties for our kids, mostly because they have SO MUCH STUFF and I don’t want parents to feel obligated to bring a gift…but I also wonder if they would bring one anyways. The fear of “what if I am the only one who doesn’t bring a gift to the no gift party” (Maybe that’s just me?!) 🙂 Instead i have hosted neighborhood parties for like Valentines Day and our kids get to host a fun party but no one has to feel like they have to bring something!

    1. Also interested to hear how the no gifts please goes. considering an option like this for my girls this year for their big party’s as they also both have SO much! And I also have the same worries as Kristin if I’d be the only one not to bring a gift if I received an invitation like that. I know I over think things like this so hearing your experience will add to my thoughts to ponder over.

    2. Most people follow the request and do not bring gifts, which is wonderful! A few friends brought cards, which was sweet.

  4. Oh my word sooo soo cute!!!! You are so creative and frugal!!! I hope I am a fun mom when I start having kiddos!! I had a crafty mom and I am also crafty so it’s something I hope to pass on!!
