Tandiart Fairies

Standard

I’ve had the great pleasure of working with some digital downloads from Tandiart, created by the very talented Sylwia Gryczuk.

I had a canvas bag that I was keeping for altering and Sylwia’s fairies were just perfect ❀️

I did an image transfer, using Finnabair soft gloss gel by Prima and then added paint and some doodles πŸ˜ƒ

I really had fun creating this project, especially with the digital download.

If you would like to your hands on some beautiful artwork go to Sylwia’s etsy store https://www.etsy.com/ie/shop/Tandiart

And check out Sylwia’s other social media sites on Facebook, Pinterest and Tandiart.blogspot.ie.

Here is a few photo’s of the bag

I used the wonderful paint from Daily art and some gesso from Prima, I made the flower from the Tim Holtz large tattered florals die coloured with distress paint and some vintage lace, gifted to me from my friend Karen ❀️

Thank you Sylwia for the chance to play ❀️❀️

Challenge Food and/or Drink

Standard

Hi back again with another challenge entry for http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/

I made a card with Tim Holtz crazy cats, love them πŸ˜ƒ, and the fish is from an old stamp set by creative expressions, the jar is a die cut from echo park.

I really love the expressions on these cats faces πŸ˜ƒ.
I colour them using the distress markers and used the coordinating die set to cut them out.

The dies are brilliant as they cut really close to your stamped image! ❀️

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Easter xx

Easter time

Standard

Hi all, just having another play with Finnabair art alchemy paints.

I used some of the opal magic, violet and gold!

It’s like having two paint colours in one πŸ˜ƒ, on the black base it is gold………but on the wings where I used the white crackle paste, you can see the violet ( well I hope you can, cause I grunged it up a bit πŸ˜ƒ)

I had a lot of fun altering this egg and I think I just might have make it a yearly thing πŸ˜ƒ

Thanks for stopping by xx

A little mixed media play

Standard

Just wanted to share a little project I’ve been working on. I purchased a few of Finnabairs new Alchemy metallique paints and WOW!!!!! Love them!

I have also used some of the mica powders, glass glitter platinum and black micro beads on the background.

The beautiful flaming heart is from Sandra Everstons, Relics and Artifacts collections.

I have also used bits and pieces of old jewellery to decorate the heart.

The background is made up of lace, texture paste, white gesso, mica powders and I have used Finns 3D Matt gel to glue everything down.

I have also used chipboard from snip art and Wycinanka.

Thank you for looking, going to have another play!!!! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

Tim Holtz, 12 tags 2016, FebruaryΒ

Standard

This year Tim is mixing it up with the 12 tags. I have decided to join in πŸ˜€.

I don’t always have exactly what Tim has used but it’s all about the techniques and most importantly having fun!

This is my tag for February, I guess my thinking behind it is my love of travel and my hope for my kids to explore the world, and of course leave a bit of sparkle wherever they go!
