KKS: March Release Hop

Are you so in love with this month's release?!?  All of the stamp sets and the Spring Kard Kit are available in the Krafty Store NOW!!  I have a couple of goodies to share with you all today.

First off I made a tag using HAPPY NEW HOME, honestly I just colored my image, cut it out with a couple of fun border/trims on the top and bottom and attached it with a big, fat tulle bow!  Quick and easy peasy!!  Ready in a flash for a new neighbor gift!!

Next up I used a portion of the Spring Kard Kit and made a set of 3×3 cards.  Other than ink and stickles, everything I used for these was from the kit.

For the rainboots card, the tag was in the kit and it has a fun little sentiment on it, so I stamped up the rainboots from the stamp set YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE (inlcuded in the kit), colored them a fun pink and added some great green stickles (this is one of my fave stickles colors EVER!).  Twine and button were in the kit!  For the 2nd card, I stamped the clouds (from the same stamp set), colored them up and cut them out.  That fun green border at the top, came with the kit (already in that shape, just longer!).  

For the little chicks card, I stamped the sentiment with an Ombre Yellow/Orange pad.  The flowers in my portion of the kit were white so I took a couple of Copics to them to get them the colors I wanted.  For the chicks, I colored them with Copics then covered them with Yellow and White Sparkle Fluff, to make their eyes pop a little better, I went over them with a Copic Black Multiliner.  And for my final card, I stamped the top of the umbrella on a piece of the patterned paper and cut it out.  The handle of the umbrella is stamped directly on the my beige base, and the yellow umbrella is popped up.  I stamped some raindrops and add my sentiment directly on the base paper.  Again, I took a Copic to the flower to get it the color I wanted 🙂
