Simon Says Stamp Wendesday Challenge is to make a card “touchy feely”, add texture.  I threw this idea around for a bit not sure what to do.  I finally settled on breaking out my embossing folders which I rarely use.  I’ve had this folder for probably a year and have yet to use it.  After pulling this card together, I think I’ll go for this look more often.

I used a My Favorite Things stamp, stamped it with my MISTI, used my laser printer to copy it and then Minc(k)ed it.  (How do you spell that?  It’s not Minced because then that would be a /s/ instead of a /k/ sound….but I digress).  Some SSS Catkin, Twirling Tutu and Spring Rain inks blended so very softly gave a light airy look to the embossing.
