Welcome to another Make It Monday! I’m so happy to share this easy and quick card with you today!

One of my favorite card makers ever is Jennifer McGuire. And one of my favorite challenge sites is Simon Says Stamp! The minute I saw Jennifer’s most recent card, I knew I wanted to make my own version for the Ombre Challenge. I was inspired by the simplicity and elegance in Jen’s card and couldn’t wait to jump in! And the other thing that really inspired me was the Lasting Hearts card drive – a card drive Jen has organized for collecting cards for those who have recently lost a baby due to miscarriage. I can’t wait to make some more to send for the collection ❤

COLOR
I used three Distress Ink colors (Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar) and applied the colors directly onto the card stock.

HEARTS
Using the Heidi Swapp heart stencil and Perfect Pearls in Heirloom Gold, I created the background hearts onto the card.

SENTIMENT
Using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hearts and Hello dies, I die cut the heart from vellum and hello from gold paper. I glued it all down and stamped a sweet little sentiment to finish the card.
