Happy Saturday, guys!
As I said on my previous post, I have another Halloween Card to share with you. I played a bit with some of my Distress Inks and created a background for my card. I used Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean, Black Soot and Seedless Preserves. These inks are a great combo for a night sky. I then added some splashes of water with my brush and picked that water with a paper towel. That way, the water picked some of that ink and created a very nice texture.
I used a Halloween stamp set from Inkadinkado to stamp and color the creatures that decorate my card. Next I created a moon by die cutting a white paper circle and did a bit of sponging with a grey ink, just to add a bit of dimension.
The sentiment I used is from the same stamp set and I stamped it right onto the moon. Last step, I added googly eyes to the creatures and also scattered a couple of them on my background.

This is such a wonderfully whimsical and elegant card! That background is STUNNING! It really does look like the perfect Fall sky with a lovely smattering of stars. Excellent job on the techniques you used to really bring that to life and the skillful way you blended the background colors in an ombre effect. I also thought it was SO incredible clever of you to make some eyeballs floating around in space, too! That is something totally unique that made me smile. You have great attention to detail and this card was a pleasure to see and to learn about.
