Just Resting His Eyes

Well, its the weekend, and it looks good from here....hope it is for you too!  Time for a little rest and relaxation?  How about a card for Father's Day?  I have to be quick, as someone keeps poking around....last night when I was making the card and today when I'm doing the post!



This is another super image from Just Inklined called Man at Work, and it's so very fitting for Father's Day.  My hubbie is not a fisherman, but he loves to canoe, and I often find him "resting his eyes" when watching TV.  That's his quote, not mine.  lol  

Coloured with Prismas and OMS, then cut out with my Nestie die, I've then inked the edges with blue and grey.  The frame is cut on my Silhouette, while the DP is something from my stash with blue sky and white clouds...perfect!  Just a bit of border and some stickles and I'm done!

    Fabulous card Joyce and I can imagine Bruce just resting his eyes. Ken will say that and that he's inspecting the inside of his eyelids - what are they like hee hee!!!
    Sunshine here at the moment but we've had a couple of heavy showers too.
    I went to Ella's school summer fair today - that was nice and now just going to get ready to go to a friends for a BBQ - but I think we will be inside rather than out.

    absolutely fabulous card! must be an "old timers" saying... my gramma used to say that all the time watching tv. however, i didn't know SNORING is part of that equasion - lol.
