This card was inspired by Day 3 of Sandy Allnock's Go for the Gold class. She created a fabulous background with brusho, and some "leftover" gold ferro. I don't have very many gold or metallic products, so I had to get creative. I did some ink smooshing for the chipped sapphire. Then I squeezed out a little of the Wink of Stella Gold onto my craft mat, and smooshed that onto the background. Not quite as dramatic as the Ferro, but still pretty. Hard to get a good picture of its shine. I thought it kind of looked like a night sky, so I picked this sentiment from Verve and embossed it in gold. I used the Blueprints 13 stitched rectangle for the background, and then backed that with some gold foil paper by DWV for even a little more gold sparkle.
Anything Goes over at the SSS Wednesday Challenge, so I'm also entering this over there.

Beautiful inking for your night sky, Megan - the sentiment is lovely, too! Thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
