Art Impressions Challenge #168 - Cut Your Cards!

The Fall colors are really showing through

in my area of the world.

Which also means allergy and sinus season!

Unfortunately, the past few days it has taken over

my creative inspiration.

But yesterday this idea for the Art Impressions

Cut Your Cards Challenge

was "floating" around in my head.

(pun intended!)

My card features the adorable

Deep Breath Birthday

from the ZooCrew Collection.

I have not created a window card in a long time.

It was fun to create and I really like the finished result!

I started with a card base in Brilliant Blue from Stampin' Up!

(sadly this color is now retired)

Then I dry embossed a white panel with Cuttlebug spots.

I die cut the window with a Spellbinder Circle die and

cut a larger circle "frame" with the same dies.

The Loopy Rings die cut is from Memory Box

and cut from vellum.

 The sentiment was also die cut and mounted 

onto the same Brilliant Blue cardstock.

Of course, you see the full image inside the card.

Isn't this chubby fish adorable??

AND so fun to color!

He was colored with Copic Markers and charcoal pencil.

The window card was a little difficult to photograph,

so one more showing the window scene!!
