Nevermore – AHSC #126

It’s Monday so that means it’s time to reveal a new sketch at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  Next to Christmas, Halloween is probably one of my favorite holidays to make cards for.  I’ve never been into the “scary” side of things…more cutesy with a few bats and spiders thrown in along the way.

The first thing I did with this sketch is give it a twist. I’ve kept my packet of Nevermore paper on my desk for creating since the first of the month.  I’m finding if I focus on one paper each month it is nearly completely gone by the end of the month.  It also challenged me this month to make non-Halloween items with this terrific paper packet.

I wanted to get a good stash of Halloween cards ready to go in the mail next month so I looked at the new Halloween themed keys on the Artistry cartridge and found this terrific bat overlay – doesn’t it look like they are flying in front of a moon?
