for a crowd :
1 large, ripe honeydew melon (about 8 cups scooped out)
1 cup lemon-lime soda
a few sprigs of fresh mint
OPTIONAL:
2 cups of white RUM
OPTIONAL:
ice cubes
Puree the honeydew melon in your blender or food processor with a sprig or 2 of fresh mint. (you may need to do this in 2 batches) Pour into 1 or 2 pitchers and add the lemon-lime soda and rum. Garnish with additional mint leaves and add some ice cubes to the pitcher or glasses.
Individual :
about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of ripe honeydew melon
a splash of lemon-lime soda
a couple of mint leaves
OPTIONAL: about 1/4 cup white RUM
