KKS; June Release Hop! & Tag You’re It Challenge!

Hey yall!  THE STAMPS ARE LIVE!!!!  All of the June Kraftin Kimmie stamps are live in the Krafty Store and ready for your shopping trip!!!  For today's creation I paired up Lulu from BELIEVE IN FAIRYTALES with the current Tag You're It Challenge.  I liked the clean look of the inspiration tag… a sweet image and a simple sentiment… and wanted to follow that as much as I could (we all know I'm a little "allergic" to all white, lol).  The next best thing was one of the papers from my Enchanted pack that was sort-of white but had a sprinkle of stars on it.  I didn't want to use a "regular tag shape", so I grabbed my Vertical Stitched Strips and used it as my base piece.  I really like the "tails" on the inspiration tag but I just couldn't bring myself to chop off any of those "stitches" so I used a Chevron die to add some "tails" to the bottom.  I also liked the way the inspiration tag was "clipped" to a giftie bag… instead of a clothes pin style clip I used a green arrow paper clip 🙂  I love the way this turned out… clean look with just enough "pretty" 🙂  Thanks to Tracey McNeeley for the inspiration!!

For lil Miss Lulu I decided to paper piece her dress.  Instead of doing the whole dress in the floral pattern I did her "skirt" in some green… LOVE it!  The rest of her is colored with Copics.  Well that's all I have for ya today, have fun hopping around and visiting the rest of the Krafty Girls & guests!
