Welcome! This card was inspired by a video by Jennifer McGuire showing how to do Faux Detail Letterpress technique. I used a Cheery Lynn Die Kiwi Doily that I inked with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink and then embossed on Kraft CS. I cut out the center of the design with Lawn Fawn Stitched circle die and layered on a Red Scalloped Circle cut with Spellbinders Die. I attached this to a Card base of the Kraft CS that I embossed with Cuttlebug EF Gingham and stamped with GKD sentiment from Nana's Needlework set with the red ink. I hope you can see all the details on the center.
Challenges:
The Kraft Journal: #225 CAS Embossed
Craft Your Passion Challenge: Always Anything Goes
Allsorts Challenge: Happy Birthday
Seize the Birthday: Anything goes Birthday
Simon Wednesday Challenge: Simon Says Anything Goes
Thanks to Jennifer for her great video on this technique.
Have a great day! I love reading your comments.
