Since I hadn’t put away all of the ink pads used on my recent “Merci Beaucoup” cards, I decided to create another card for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Color Challenge. I will also be submitting this card to the current Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge (Anything Goes) and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (Anything Goes).
I cut two makeup wedges in half lengthwise and used them to sponge the inks over the Simon Says Stamp Medium Dots stencil. (Sponge daubers would have worked better though, as the wide end of the makeup wedge caused me to unintentionally transfer ink between rows of the stencil.) The sentiment from Hand Lettered Winter Wishes was stamped in Simon Says Stamp Black ink onto a rectangle cut from the second smallest Stitched Rectangle die.
