Spring Candy Coated Popcorn

Sharing is caring!

Spring Candy Coated Popcorn

We love having popcorn to munch on, but adding something to it, even just a bit of candy coating and some sprinkles makes it a special treat! The kids love popcorn plain, but it’s like I’m supermom when I add something unexpected and surprise them. I love that feeling – knowing that my quick thinking has made them so happy – I just love that!

You’ll love this spring themed candy coated popcorn – it’s perfect for Easter, a Spring tea party, even a birthday party!

Spring Candy Coated Popcorn

Ingredients:

1 Bag Pink Wilton Candy Melts
1 Bag Blue Wilton Candy Melts
1 Bag of Wilton Pastel Colorburst Candy Melts
Popcorn
Parchment Paper

Instructions:

Step 1: Microwave a bag of popcorn, remove the un-popped kernals and set off to the side.

Step 2: Place the pink candy melts into a bowl and microwave for a minute. Stir and continue to microwave for 30 seconds at a time until the candy is smooth.

Step 3: Mix the candy melts into the popcorn and stir until it is coated well.

Step 4: Place the candy coated popcorn in a single layer on a sheet of parchment paper to dry.

Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 with the blue and pastel confetti candy melts too.

Step 6: When all the popcorn has dried, separate it into pieces and mix together to form a Spring Popcorn Mix.
