Lisa Johnson's Life set is made for this technique! I've used it several times with this technique. Here's my latest - again using colors from Play Date Cafe this week, but I think I've reached my limit in submissions for them this week:
I stamped the leaves in Ripe Avocado and then the blooms were stamped in Orange Zest with a little Pure Poppy rolled on the edges. After I got the color down, I stamped the blooms again in Versamark and embossed them with my new Holographic embossing powder.
Then I scored the frame to highlight the images.
The sentiment is also done with the selective inking technique Erin is highlighting this week. The orange part of the sentiment is one long strip, but I wanted it on two lines, so I only inked it up a little at a time.
Another fun week at PTI. This challenge along with the big release week has me losing some sleep! What's on your Wish List? I haven't taken the plunge with Year Of Flowers yet, so the mini-set looks very appealing. I also love the Fruit Fusion, all the Floral Fusion, Think Big and Tag Its sets! I thought I would take it easy this month, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen!
Thanks for visiting My Happy Place!
Here are a couple of other cards I've made with Life and selective inking.

Love your CAS design, especially that hint of sparkle!
Another gorgeous one!
Love how you used Life...
I just love that set.
But I've always been lazy and just stamped it in one color...
I like your way better.
Both your cards are beautiful ,but I love the one with the large circle . Nice selective inking.
LeeAnne, I like how you framed your flowers with the scored lines! Thanks for playing with us again this week at The Play Date CAfe.
You did such a great job with the selective inking that I'd thought the stamps came that way! Way to go!
Ok, I LOVE the idea of scoring a border around your flowers! Gives so much dimension to an otherwise "flat" card! Great job!
This technique is gorgeous and perfect for this stamp set. I love how you've put everything together...and there's no such thing as too many projects. :) Thanks for playing along again at The Play Date Cafe.
All your cards using this technique are beautiful. I really like the last one with all the sparkle on the flowers.
Lee Anne all of the cards are very pretty. I just love the pink & green one!
Goegeous Lee Anne! I just love the warmth of this card. The scored border does so much to pull it all together.
This is very pretty! Love the embossed lines you've added! Great job with PTI's Make It Monday challenge!!
I do not have this set... you are making me want it!! I tried multiple times to make a card, tag, *something* with this technique and kept failing. I finally gave up :) ... you have done so great!! LOVE them all!
Holographic embossing powder? Really? I have to check that out, how fun!! Beautiful card! Love the colors!
As always, you've brought "Life" to life! Simply beautiful!
