Fairytale Flowergirl

For the Less is More Challenge this week it's a lucky dip, Thank You or Congratulations. 

For once I have made one of each with a Wedding this weekend but unfortunately due to some awful family news I will not be able to attend.

The image used is from Digistamp Boutique and the images I think you will agree are just gorgeous and I have had them for quite a while but not had a reason to make them until now so they are new to me!. As usual the wonderful Kerry at A load of old pickle did wonders with these images and was my inspiration.

I printed the image directly onto the card blank and typed the sentiment using Scriptina and Nayala Fonts and coloured with my promarkers, I used ivory and vanilla for the skin tone and for the hair, ivory, tan and outlined with shale and blended them together, still not great but I am getting there.

For the roses I used blossom and rose pink and finished off with a diamonte in the centre of the flowers and used glitter to colour the chest area of the dress and inbetween the ruffles on the dress and layered onto the printed image.

As well as entering this into the Less is more challenge blog, I am also entering into the Passion for Promarkers where the theme is Princesses and I think with the Royal Wedding and the fact that we are now hitting peak wedding time this card fits in ideally with that specification.
