Papertrey Make It Monday, #4 (12)

So the current Make It Monday challenge at Papertrey is line border drawing.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I've tried it with a ruler. I suck at it. I mean, I took trigonometry and geometry and physics and all sorts of crap where you'd think I could use a ruler. But no.

However, I realized that if you CUT A RECTANGLE FROM ACETATE and put temporary adhesive on the back, you can stick that sucker on your project and trace the edges and still SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING AT ALL TIMES. Just remember to pull up gently so you don't tear your paper. And make sure your PEN WORKS before you start or you'll have to start over and color those stupid gladiolas a second time. Hahahahaha!

Thanks for looking!

Looks totally professional. I love the cut-away effect you get around the word "MERCI".

I like the 3x BLING placed along the border. HOME RUN!

This is lovely! Your color choice is wonderful. And the placement of the frame is perfect. I love seeing how differently all the cards are coming out just based on where there's an opening left in the frame.

I think that's why I am not a CAS person...I can't do perfect like that. I love how you make clean cards but they can still have lots of color...and your shimmery flower centers are always fun.

Fab card, gorgeous colouring (as usual) and what a great tip to use acetate and trace around that! I also struggle with frames so may give this a go :)
