This week I am featuring a home blogger on the blog. Meet Abby at Just a Girl and Her Blog. I’ve been following Abby’s blog for about 5 months now. She posts anything on DIY projects to home decor / remodeling to anything about her two boys. I enjoy reading posts every week from Just a Girl and Her Blog. I love seeing her decor in her home and seeing the changes she makes her in home.
I asked Abby several questions to help us get to know her better.
1. Tell me little bit about yourself.
I’m Abby of Just a Girl and Her Blog. I live in Pittsburgh, PA with my husband Donnie, and our two sons, Connor (5) and Caleb (3). On my blog I write about home decor and organization, crafts and DIYs, and random happy thoughts! 🙂
2. Why do you blog?
I started blogging because I was a stay at home mom who wanted a creative outlet. While it is still a huge creative outlet for me, it is the awesome blogging community that keeps me blogging and coming back for more!
3. What is your favorite place to shop for home decor?
It would have to be a tie between Target and IKEA! Many, many of the items in my home are from those two places, and I always seem to have success when I go there looking for decor pieces.
4. What area(s) of your house needs updated/renovated?
Our kitchen is in desperate need of a renovation. Anyone want to donate several grand to the cause? 😉
5. What piece(s) of decor do you want to add to your home?
I have been slowly but surely updating our wall art in many of our spaces, but I still have quite a few areas that I would love to fill with great pieces.
