True Love Thursday is a weekly post series on the subject of love. I’ll talk about loving yourself and others to ways to making yourself a better person.
Welcome to another day of the All You Need Is Love Project by Carmen at ShuGar Love.
This week’s topic is: Give an example in your life when you have felt/given unconditional love. Check out last week’s topic.
When you think of unconditional love, who do you think of? When I think of unconditional love, I think of parents. Parents’ love towards their children is unconditional. They will love their children no matter what.
My love towards my girls, Katie and Sophia, is also unconditional. I love them. Hands down.
My unconditional love towards Katie and Sophia began when I first found out I was pregnant with them. Even before I met them. I didn’t know my girls yet, but I knew I loved them and I would love them no matter what.
My unconditional love for Katie and Sophia grew when I first met them when they were born. Even though I went through everything with childbirth, I still loved them. The pain was worth it to have my girls in my life.
What example in your life have you felt or given unconditional love?
I couldn’t agree more. It is the most powerful kind of love and it doesn’t matter what you go through to receive this love. It is the most beautiful love I have ever known. Aren’t we lucky to have our little ones?
We are so lucky! I wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
The best kind of love here is. A mother’s love to a child is completely unadulterated and with no strings attached. You have beautiful girls Julie. 🙂
Thanks! 🙂 Your boy is very cute as well.
Awww your children are just adorable!!! I love this post, even though I don’t have children this is a beautiful post. I love kids they are so cute and fun! 🙂
Thanks Iris! 🙂 I love having two girls.
Ahh! What a sweet post about being a mom. I must admit, in this earth life, being a parent is the closest I get to feeling and giving unconditional love. Isn’t it a fantastic feeling. Thanks for sharing. Your little ones are just darling!
Thanks! I agree that being a parent is the closest thing to feeling/giving unconditional love. It is such a great feeling.
Thank you for sharing this post at City of Creative Dream’s City of Links on Friday! I appreciate you taking the time to party with me. Hope to see you again this week 🙂
I have so much unconditional love for both Baby Boy and Hun. In the past of past I didn’t know it was really possible. Then I learned. Now I can live it! 🙂
A person doesn’t realize how possible it is to have unconditional love until they have a child of their own.
No, I didn’t know quite the depths of unconditional love until Baby Boy. I’m grateful in present and aware enough to relish in it, too. 🙂
