Are you keeping up with Bonnie Hunter’s “Celtic Solstice” mystery? I was woefully behind due to being out of town the past two Fridays. But some dedicated sewing time Saturday and Sunday caught me up!

Clue #3 called for 200 Half Square Triangles, 2″ unfinished. I used 100 of the HSTs to make 25 “Pinwheels,” 3 1/2″ unfinished.

Clue #4 was quick and easy. Bonnie purposefully planned for a quick clue since it is Christmas week. 120 “Four Patches,” Orange and Green, 3 1/2″ unfinished.

Guessing: There are 25 “Pinwheels.” I wonder if they will be the centers of 25 blocks in the quilt. Playing with the components in my rapidly filling project box, I laid out a possible configuration.
