Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We are Irish and we usually do something fun and exciting on SPD..

but this year, since we have a baby...we  just had dinner with the family.

I did make time to doll up the babies and take some festive photos!!

(My goodness...how I love this little girl! She owns my heart!!)

The move...

I'm somewhat late posting these but we finally* got moved....we have about 10% left at the 

old house but maybe this weekend we can get it and be done! I've been working like 

mad trying to get the new place whipped into shape...

 This is what we moved in...I had to shovel to make room for the moving truck...about a foot of snow.

The kitchen....this makes me so happy. I missed cooking!

The Great room, Dwen was wore out so he sat with Jagger while I cleaned...cleaning is my specialty.

I'm a ninja!

They did it all in one day instead of two, saving us about $800 dollars. Yay!

Snow!

We were scheduled to move on the 27th...all the utilities were set up, movers were arranged, we had sitters lined up for both kids...Sara took time off work to help. Until 7 days ago we got about a foot of snow....7 days, we can still move....it will be clear enough...until 2 days ago we got another 8 inches....ugh. Everything comes to a screeching halt in this city when it snows. Everything closes. Even the postal services....sigh.
We have re-scheduled the movers for the weekend....we have re-arranged the sitters. I believe, I may still have to move toting Grace around....but we are working on figuring that one out still. Had to call the utility companies so they don't shut off service in our old house too early. I don't even wanna think about the grumpy husband without internet!!! Nothing we can do about any of it...other than to bitch about it and I got that covered. ;)

Hoping I will soon have a sliver of my 'normal' life back....hoping soon things will work out with Jagger's and he can return to his family....hoping soon for spring....just ready for the new chapter! Sorry for the lack of pictures....me and my camera are estranged at this moment....I'll be making up with it SOON!

Crazy

A quick update for ya.....

We found a house to rent! We are super excited, it is everything we wanted...ranch style,

normal sized windows that open, an attic fan, plenty of space, a 2 car garage and a fenced back yard! We move in on the 27th...two weeks away!

Unfortunely it is in Olathe, a city I didn't want to move too. But it is on the outskirts of town.

Trying to pack up this house has been an adventure to say the least. It's not easy with 2-5 month olds, and both are teething. Luckily my brother Ken has been an amazing help.

Kids are good, neither is thrilled we are moving but such is life.

Dogs know something is up...hope they adapt well at the new place, they have only lived here.

I won a $60 dollar gift certificate to Papertrey Ink....I was so excited I about pee'd.

Been working in the floral department, Valentine's day is crazy there!!

My friend Monica had a birthday yesterday....I didn't get a card to her, so a big shout out to her! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

That's all I got...better get back to it! The babes are hollarin'!
