A Life Lesson: Determination
It’s been a hectic week, beginning with a wedding, ending with my DS determined to go for training for his new job with a broken clavicle. He said that “they are paying me to train to do this job, I have to go“. This was two days after he got the job. Note that he broke his collar bone on the way home on the first day after orientation, on the third day he was back at work. He had been at work for an hour and surprised this trainer by making a sale and making a commission. He was exhausted and hurting when he got home, and very happy he went. I am so proud of that stubborn determination, that at times has made me pull my hair out.
I am still working on The Plan, beginning round 3, even though I am really want to start something new.
I am determined to get down to 6 wips before I start anything else!

ooooh, you had to mention WIP 😉 I think I might re-evaluate my existing projects and attempt to finish or frog so I can reclaim needles.

I’ve been working on reducing my WIP’s all week, it’s quite satisfying getting lots of FO’s in fairly quick succession 🙂 Your son sounds very strong minded!

My daughter has broken both of hers, one in her youth the other in high school. I hope he recovers quickly. Love the projects!

One thing about my DS, he has never let me down in anything that matters! Apparently I am not to say this anymore, he smiles and says he feels the pressure not to screw-up 😉
