Printable | Letter Formation Practice | Upper Case

Well, I posted a set of lowercase Letter Formation Practice Pages a week ago. I thought there might be a few people who found them useful, even though they were pretty simplistic. Apparently a lot of people found them useful. I guess it's not just my own kids who find it constraining to write the same letter over and over.

I really don't know how I feel about that. I boarded with my grandparents the first year I was at college, and I remember finding one of my grandmother's copybooks from when she was a small girl (rode a horse to school and all!). It was pages of the most beautiful copperplate lettering...it makes me sad to think that the generations that followed have such short attention spans that we can't do it anymore.

But it is what it is.

My children are happy, intelligent, developmentally advanced (according to the pediatrician), and have a love for Jesus that warms my soul and makes my heart sing.

So here is the Upper Case set of Letter Formation Practice pages. I'll also be working on a set for numbers, and extended sets for colour words, number words, and high frequency words. Cassie Osbourne ((3Dinosaurs) has offered to work on sets for sight words as well (her kids are a few years ahead of mine) so be watching her site as well.

You can download a copy of the Letter Formation Practice - Upper Case pdf file here.
