An Interview With Boy

Little Boy is 3 years old and has that innate wisdom that little children seem to have. He knows that I have a blog and write about stuff I do around the house.

Last night, I was working on the computer, drafting a new post. I can hear him telling his father, “Mommy is looking at her blog.”  He came up to me and said very seriously, that he wanted to be in my blog! So, I interviewed him!!

Me: Hi there!

Boy: Hi (waves)

Me: How old are you?

Boy: I am 3. (Holds up 3 of his fingers.)

Me: Do you go to school?

Boy: Yes.

Me: Do you like it there?

Boy: (Loud) Yes!

Me: Who is your best friend right now?

Boy: Elijah.

Me: Do you have girl friends?

Boy: Umm, no…yeah…

Me: OK. What do you do in the weekends?

Boy: We go out.

Me: Which is your favorite place to visit?

Boy: Sea World.

Me: What do you like the most there?

Boy: Shamu!!! (The orca or killer whales at Sea World.)

Me: What does Shamu do?

Boy: He jumps and dances in the water and he splashes his tail and he says, “squeak squeak squeak”. (Makes whale-like sounds and has to be calmed down to continue the rest of the interview!)

Here are some pics of Shamu in action.

Me: What else do you like? What is your most favorite thing in the world?

Boy: Cars cars cars!!!

Me: What model?

Boy: Red mini-cooper.

Me: Is red your favorite color?

Boy: No, its blue.

Me: But you said red mini cooper.

Boy: Nooo. I like blue for all other cars. And yellow too.

Just a few of his prized possessions. And yes, that is my baking pan!

Making formations with cars is his favorite pastime. I think Daddy helped him with this one.

Me: OK. What is your favorite food?

Boy: Chochi.

(That is what he calls rice. Really now, Boy? Hmm…)

I couldn’t resist this last question.

Me: Who is your best friend ever? Mommy or Daddy?

Boy: Umm… bye now! Bye-bye!!

How diplomatic!!!

So there you have it. A peek in to the life of our little rock-star! Sweet little one, what did I ever do before I had you?!!
