Great isea!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
My dog won’t eat it, but the geese think it’s the best thing ever!
yup, i throw mine out to the crows – or into the pond for the turtles. 🙂
No sense in it going to waste!
I give it to the gulls, they love it!
Great photos!
I’m sure they think it’s a great treat too!
It’s good somebody can use it! 🙂
They LOVE it! Best treat ever!
Great idea, this duck is so cute, great captures.
Thanks. The geese are positively delirious when they get dog food. 🙂
Very cute – and some birds just refuse it!
I’m sure the geese would fight anyone else for the dog food. They love it!
I am not sure if my dog wants to share her dog food. Cute shots of the geese.
Stella doesn’t like soggy food, so she appreciates the fresh food, and the birds are happy for the soggy stuff. 🙂
Nothing goes to waste.
We try not to waste things around here.
Great close up images!!! Y’wonder now, if leftover cat food would work the very same?!!!
Pretty sure the geese would love it as well.
Each to their own I suppose!!!
Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW

All my geese love the dog food. Some people actually use it to feed their peafowl because of the high protein content. 🙂
Nice to see that nothing is wasted and there is someone that likes soggy food.
Judith
They more than like it! They think it’s the best thing since sliced bread!
That’s what I do too, only to the chickens. The ravens and other birds actually take the dog food and put it in the waters down by the barn to soften it up so they can eat it. 🙂
I’m not surprised. I go through a lot of dog food between the blue jays and starlings and the dog.
Way to conserve resources! 🙂
Yep. And it’s a nice treat for the geese. They don’t get much bread anymore because the goats like it too. 🙂
LOL! The goose will eat it!
They eat anything!
The goose certainly seem to enjoy it.
It’s their favorite treat! They come running when they see me dump it out.
Same goes for cat food if the pig does not get to it first!
I can imagine! I just feed my cats inside though, so it doesn’t get soggy. 🙂
Very nice and a good idea for the soggy dog food~
Thanks. It’s better than wasting it, especially when we have a really rainy spring.
Great photos.
Thanks, Neil
