Where does the day go???  The day just flew by!  I have the day off today from work, my hair stylist had to cancel my appointment so I’ve been playing in my craftroom most of the day. What do I have to show for it?  One card!!!

I saw the challenge this week at Capture the Moment – Glitter Trim.  I tried several different border dies and found the more intricate detailed ones just didn’t seem to work as well for this technique (for me anyway)!

Paper: PaperTrey Ink

Dies: Flower, Bloom Builder – PaperTrey Ink and Prima Donna Petals – My Favorite Things, Heart Swirl – Magnolia Doohicky, Medium Scallop Border Die – My Favorite Things, hello – PaperTrey Ink

Embellishments: Felt, Rhinestone Brad, Ribbon, Glitter – I’ve had this for years, I just don’t seem to use glitter very often as I seem to find it everywhere after I’m done with my project.

  14. I always love black and white and red when I see them together and this card is a beauty! I love the CAS design and the decision to combine checks with dots and then add that wonderful belly band was awesome! And, of course, that beautiful flower simply elevates the design! Thanks for sharing with us at 613 Avenue Create!
