This week at Moving along with the times, the lovely Shell has this fabby sketch to follow
We all got an image to work with for this challenge and I have used the "Big Sweater Kid" Image.
I don't have a die cut machine to cut shapes with my image so I opted for a different take on the sketch and decided to make (shock horror) a male card.
I never,ever, ever make male cards but when I saw this image I thought it was sooo cute and decided to create a male card for a change.
The papers were a free download from cardmaking and papercraft and if you haven't been on there yet make sure you do some gorgeous papers and they are free!
I always struggle for embellies on a male card but buttons, you can never fail! These are papermania minature buttons and they went perfectly with my colour scheme. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat printed onto saf mat and the card is from my stash.
I coloured with promarkers:
Blush, Tan, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Lime, Forest Green, Honeycomb, Gold, Canary and Yellow.
Please pop over and see what the rest of the design team have created with Shell's sketch and Meljen's images.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;
Color Throwdown # 230 - CTD230
Creative Inspirations Challenge # 202 - Anything Goes
Craftroom Challenge - Something for a man
Crafty Boots Challenge - Out of your Comfort Zone
Have a good weekend!
