Make It Monday #104

I was excited about the new Papertrey Ink Make It Monday over on Nicole Heady’s blog. I have been wondering how people were making those super cute little pinwheels! Ashley Cannon Newell has a wonderful video tutorial for them. Here is my pinwheel card. 🙂

DSCN2268There are so many innovative ways to use the pinwheels as seen in the gallery of people already linked up, but I decided to go old school and use them as actual pinwheels. I wish I could find a way to actually make them move…hmmm…I feel another project coming on,..that is, if toddler allows. LOL!

Hope you like it!

  1. Lauren, this is just too cute. You are so creative and clever, 3 sweet little pinwheels on sticks. They look like summer.

Those tiny pinwheels are so cute, and they look great all lined up.

  4. What a cute card, it looks so miniature and dainty! It actually looks like the pinwheels will turn if the wind were to blow! What a great card! Thank you for your comment on my blog, I really appreciate it!

  5. Super cute pinwheels all in a row! Love that you used toothpicks for them (perfect size!) and that you cut the pointy ends off. Great detail!
