Time to relax

Hi everyone,
I'm sharing a card I created for my chiropractor and his wife for their retirement.

The stamps are from Hero Arts and stamped in Versafine ink. I ink-blended the background with Tumbled glass distress oxide ink and latte ink from Simon Says Stamp. The clouds are done using the cloud stencil from A Color Life.  To get the shadows under the swing and palm trees, I used a detail blending brush from Waffleflower and a darker shade of brown ink. Really happy with how the shadows turned out. Used the dot stitched die from Jillian Vance designs to cut the scene out and matted it with black cardstock.

A little Note - TSOT646

Hello and welcome to another sketch challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesdays.  Here is the card I made and the sketch for you to use.

The flowers are from a very old set from Close to My Heart. I used Tombow markers to color them. The sentiment is from a dollar stamp from Studio G. Lastly, the embossing folder used for the corners is from Spellbinders.

Thank you - The flower challenge #91

Hello! Welcome to another challenge over at The Flower Challenge blog. We are looking for you to color your flower using any medium.  I colored the following Simon Says Stamp flower with Watercolor paints from Daniel Smith.

The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and the polka dot designer paper is from an old paper pack from Papertrey, Ink.

Here is the cue card for this month’s challenge.

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone.  The Paper Players sketch challenge intrigued me, so decided to play with it today. This also goes well with the feminine challenge over at Simon Says Stamp.

The flower stamp is from Penny Black called blooming. I watercolored them using Mei Liang watercolors, then cut them out using square nesting dies. I did use a marker to darken in the centers. The flower that's in the circle is fussy cut and popped up using foam dimensional tape. The small happy birthday sentiment is from Jaded Blossom.

Hello

Hello. Playing in the TGIF challenge of pocket full of posies today.

The envelope die is from Hero Arts (I believe). All the flower dies are from Concord &  9th. The small hello is from Altenew.  I used an old cuttlebug plaid embossing folder in the background for dimension.

Flowery pair - SSC334

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Sunday Stamps.  Here is what I made using the sketch or inspiration color prompt photo.

The flower stamp is from Unity. I colored it with Copic markers and used a small blending brush and soft yellow ink to create the glow around the flowers. Butterfly die is an old one from Memory Box.

So very happy for you

Hello. I'm playing in a few challenges with this clean and simple card today.

The flower dies are from Papertrey, Inc. I cut them out of white cardstock then ink blended over them using SSS pawsitively saturated ink in cheeky and blush.  White buttons are used for the centers of the flowers and I had to tie them with twine to get a cute bow for the centers on each.

The sentiment is from The Ton. The dot outline die is from a blueprints die collection from MFT stamps. Tiny dew drops from Memory Box finish this off.

Adding this to the following challenges.
CAS of Friday - Spring
