PTI 6th Anniversary Contest – Year of Flowers Challenge

I am finally getting a chance to participate in the PTI Anniversary Challenges. So after a long blog absence, I am hoping to have several cards to share in the next few days!

I love the PTI Year of Flowers series and have most of them. They are such pretty flowers and make such a great focal point for the card. I used one of my very favorite flowers of the series, Gladiolus, for my card. I wanted a softer background so stamped the background using a stamp from the Vintage Labels set. I colored the flowers with Copics. Love how it turned out. The card details are at the bottom.

  1. The glads are one of my favorite PTI sets to color, and you have done a fabulous job! And I absolutely love that soft background. I often use the XPress It Blending Card, and think the stark white background is too harsh. You have beautifully solved this problem. Thanks for the inspiration!
