There's nothing like a good natter over a cuppa with friends.... even better if it involves crafting too, so this weeks challenges at Less is More and CASology go together perfectly and having spotted a new challenge blog starting this week called Muse, I knew how I wanted my card to look after I saw Amy's beautiful design.....
I really wanted to try the new blackboard craze that I keep seeing in Blogland.... to be honest when I emboss on black I usually get that effect so I'm quite happy I could liberally use my Inkadinkado Powder Brush without worrying about it :0) Looking at it now I should have put a stick of chalk in the foreground too.
The tea set is an MFT Dienamics diecut which I've inked with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed DI to give dimension and used the polkas from the matching stamp set to add the pattern to the pot and cups. The sentiment is from the same set but I wanted "Friendship" to be a larger font so I used a Woodware alphabet instead :0)
I would love a tea set like that..... how cheery would that be first thing in the morning!!???
Thanks for stopping by :0)
