Ruffled Burlap Valentine's Wreath

I'm not so great at the wreath making, but I am pretty happy with this one.  Well, I guess I did love my Monogrammed Boxwood Wreath with Wine Corks, but it didn't take a ton of effort, and I would have probably kept it on my front door forever if the boxwood hadn't started to dry out and shed all over the foyer.  I needed to make a new wreath, because Valentine's Day is upon us.  It's very icy here, and I don't want to go out, so I pulled this little burlap Valentine's wreath together with some supplies from my craft stash.  It matches my Valentine's Mantel that was inspired by The Notebook perfectly...all is well in my world now.
I started by pulling all of the dead boxwood branches out of the wreath form.  This is what I was left with...
I grabbed two pieces of ruffled burlap from an old projects, and started tucking one of them into the tines on the wreath form.  If you don't have old pieces of ruffles burlap lying around, you can make your own...seriously, it's so easy!  Follow this tutorial on the easiest way to sew a ruffle.  Once I had gone all the way around the form, I took another strip of ruffled burlap and tied in onto the form over the existing burlap about every 4 inches.  I did this to cover any of the wreath form that was visible.
Next, I made a little garland.  I strung little cotton poofs onto a piece of twine...
Then, I clipped little cut out hearts in between each poof with these teeny little clothespins...aren't they cute?
Then I made a quick ruffled flower for the bottom, and hot glued it in place.  I went a little further and covered my ugly wreath hanger with a ruffle and poof garland as well.
Now I have a wreath that won't shed on my floor...what do you think?
