O Christmas Tree..

It's about time for
my Christmas tree reveal...

I feel I have been quiet a tease :-)

but,  really I just loved it "just flocked" so much,
I sat back and enjoyed it that way for a week or so...

all dressed up...

I love icicles
and always use them...

snow and ice
are a constant Christmas theme
in some form for me...

growing up in sunny California,
I always dreamed of a White Christmas...

here in the Northwest
White Christmas's are still pretty rare,
so I create my own :-)

in the beginning I was a purist
and used only glass icicles...
then at an after Christmas sale,
I found a big box of plastic ones,  cheap...
I tried them,
and when they are hanging
it was impossible to tell the difference...

a pop of Pink Shiny Brites...

white doves,
perching...

there is always a bell for Clarence...

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
How often has the Christmas tree
Afforded me the greatest glee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me.

I have had a lot of questions about my new flocked tree,

I bought the tree at a local hardware store
McLendon's for you local gals...

The flocking has been so much less messy
 than I expected...

the flock is stiff,
so wide wires on ornament hangers helps...

and don't be silly like me
and buy lights on a green cord,  haha!!

I LOVE MINE...

Tonight I am joining,
and

Thanks for stopping by...

Bella- Oh-I am so interested in a flocked tree. Is it a REAL tree that has been flocked or a faux one? Did you BUY it flocked or did you do it yourself?
Rebecca-A Gathering Place did one that she flocked with white paint and it looks gorgeous...but I wonder if it looks as much like "snow" as yours does. It is gorgeous, Bella, just gorgeous! Next year...I am gonna be a flocker!;>)

I looked at Bethlehem trees but the bigger ones start at about $600 and go up from there. Ummm...I'm thinking I will NOT be getting one of theirs! xo Diana

I have wanted to flock our tree too but Pink Boy says it is dangerous to pets. I looked it up and I also asked at the nursery and they said it is not poison. Your tree is so pretty and so magical. Merry Pinkmas!

Oh, Bella...your tree is to die for!!! I could just sit here all day and stare in amazement at your gorgeous photos but, I can't so I'll just pin them to my Holiday board so that I'll never lose them!
After the Holidays, I hope you'll do a "winter tree" to enjoy it's beauty longer and share more fabulous pics...
I be waiting in hope that you will!!!

You have such a beautiful Christmas tree, gorgeous! And, I love the wooden chair sitting next to it. =)

It is lovely! I am enjoying all the holiday blogs but not doing anything myself this year due to husbands recent death in Nov. Next year...
I am going through things and deciding to lighten my load of stuff--too many knickknacks, dohickies, and stuff. I have a few items on my blog for sale. After new year starts I will be selling more things, even an antique wood sled with metal runners. Too much to keep. Will eventually sell off lots of Christmas ornaments, mostly Hallmark, dating back to when they first started making them.

What a gorgeous tree, Bella! I love the flocking and the icicles, birdies, and the pink! A tree worth swooning over, my friend! I had to laugh when you said it's rare to have a white Christmas where you are. It's rare indeed for us to have a green one. Have a wonderful weekend.

Christmas blessings,

Hello Bella
The flocking has made for a gorgeous wintry looking tree. The ones in the stores I've seen only have a bit of the flocking, not nearly as nice.
It looks lovely with the pink balls and glimmering icicles, and birds should be on every tree.
Hugs,
Judith
