distress

funny story here....when i first made this card back in sept, this was my 1st attempt at the emboss resist technique. i got a tinted emboss ink pad that turned pink when i heated it. that was mistake #1.
mistake #2 was the applicator in which i applied the distress inks with. i bought this when i thought it was this. =( this one's for you, amy!so, i finally got the right tool and made this. except--------i still have the ugly pink tinted emboss pad and i didn't want any tinge of pink on these butterflies . i did use the blending tool to color the butterflies with distress inks. i can definitely get addicted to coloring with this blending tool. so fast & easy. by no means this is blended perfectly but considering it was my 1st (official) try and finished it in less than 90 minutes [yes, i am a slow worker].
have a good monday! i have a week with both my boys home.......what to do what to do?

I think you did excellent with this new technique! your flowers look great! I love the butterflies with the doily on the second. I have not tried the blending with the reindeers yet. will have to! thanks for sharing!
