DIY Fall Wreath

My roommate and I have the most boring door ever, so we decided to make a wreath to decorate it. It is a tiny wreath because we have a tiny door, and we hung it on a Command hook. It took us about 20 minutes to make and cost less than $15 in supplies.

Step 1:
You are going to start by wrapping ribbon all the way around the foam circle.
Step 2:
Next, you should hot glue the end of the ribbon to the foam circle, but make sure not to put hot glue directly on Styrofoam because it will melt!
Step 3:
Take your decorations and stick them through the ribbon and the foam. If they don't have the stem then you can hot glue them to the circle.
Step 4:
If you used the same type of embellishments that I did, you will want to cut off or bend back the wire that is sticking out the back of the wreath. We struggled to cut them so we just bend them back.
We used two pumpkins and a variety of fruits and plants on the bottom of our wreath. I love the way they look!
Step 5:
Next, you ned to put the ribbon on that you will use to hang the wreath. I wrapped the ribbon around and tied it in a bow.
Step 6:
Hot glue the hanging ribbon directly where you want the top of the wreath to be.
Step 7:
Put a drop of hot glue where you would like to place your bow.
Step 8:
Finally, press your bow onto the hot glue until it is dry and adhered to the wreath.
And ta da the wreath is done! I love it, and I love fall. I know it might be a little early to have fall decorations up, but who cares!
